  • Hudson Studios; Hudson, New York. Foundry Assistant and Fabricator. Contracting and subcontracting duties include prototype design and fabrication of handmade steel craft. The foundry work consists of commission work and small castings.

1999

  • University of The State of New York; Plattsburgh Iron Pour. State University of New York at Plattsburgh. Plattsburgh, New York. Co-host of the iron casting workshop. The event covered all aspects of the iron casting process. The students were instructed on the paticulars of sand molds as well as iron cupola construction and maintenance.
  • Foundry Assistant. Tallix Foundry. Beacon, NY. Assisted artist/subcontractor Berj Krikorian in general moldmaking and foundry duties.
  • Collaborative Artist in Residence. Centro Colombo Americano. Medellin, Colombia, S.A. Collaboration with Colombian artist Diego Domingez. Instalaçion construction was a reaction to the issue of globalization.

  • Instructor (Graduate Assistant). University of Georgia. Athens, GA. Maintained full responsibility for advanced-level sculpture class. Prepared syllabi and assignments for the advanced students, conducted individual and group critiques, material demonstrations, slide lectures, and student evaluations.
  • Workshop Assistant. Western Kentucky University. Bowling Green, KY. Assisted artists Jim Buonaccorsi and LeeAnne Mitchell in a three-day foundry workshop for students utilizing the resin-bonded sand method of mold-making.

  • Teaching and Technical Assistant. University of Georgia. Athens GA. Assisted Professors William Sapp and Horace Farlowe with beginning and advanced students in three-dimensional design, intermediate steel, and a wide range of figure study classes. Maintained sculpture area.

  • Instructor. Georgia Museum of Art. Athens, GA. Instructed a one-day workshop for high school teachers utilizing alternative methods for three-dimensional art making in high school level classes.

  • Shop Technician and Teaching Assistant. State University of New York at Plattsburgh. Plattsburgh, NY. Assisted Professor Don Osborn in instructing beginning and intermediate students in a wide range of three-dimensional art making areas. Aided in the construction and installation of several large-scale indoor and outdoor works by Don Osborn over the course of two years.
